Dr. Prakash Selvam

The Chairman and Managing Director Dr.Prakash Selvam, M.S (Ortho), is a renowned Orthopaedic Surgeon with an impressive track record of performing countless successful surgeries in various aspects of Trauma, Spine, Joint Replacement, Arthroscopy, and Sports Medicine.

Post his graduation from a premier institute Ramaiah Hospital in Bangalore. He was trained at CMC Vellore for a considerable period under doyens of Trauma and joint replacement Surgery. Later he worked for Soundarapandian Bone and Joint Hospitals Annanagar for over a decade and lately, he has been with Apollo Hospitals Greams Road as Senior Consultant Orthopedic and Joint replacement Surgeon.

During his illustrious career spanning 20 years, with his extensive experience and expertise, Dr.Prakash Selvam has performed more than 10,000 surgeries, which comprises more than 5,000 Hip and Knee replacement surgeries.

He has undergone training Programs in the USA, Italy, Switzerland, Japan, and Australia. He has also performed the most complex surgeries related to shoulder, knee, ankle, elbow, and hip joints. He is an expert in the Illizarov technique and has performed quite a few Limb-lengthening procedures

The Journey :
CTS Speciality Clinic was started in the year 2012 at Mogappair catering to the needs for not only the locals but also people from the entire Tamilnadu and Andrapradesh, with some international patients from Nigeria, Srilanka, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, and Myanmar

A second branch at Annanagar was opened in 2018 to widen the circle of care. With the Aim of expanding affordable medical care to all walks of people, now the Clinic has grown into a multi-speciality hospital ‘CTS SPECIALITY HOSPITAL’ which was inaugurated on 23rd April 2023.
